This extensive new build project was carried out as a replacement for the already existing Queen Elizabeth School which had become outdated. The new development was to be built before the existing school would be demolished to minimise the disturbance to the everyday running of the school.
Woodmace played a pivotal role throughout the project providing expert knowledge and skill sets in a number of areas including;
Despite there being a number of design changes Woodmace delivered a finished product to the highest standard. A key feature has been the creation of a pond and wildlife habitat also acting as an attenuation system for the school whilst supporting a diverse range of animal life. Woodmace also took pride in the landscaping of the lakeside memorial garden.
