Waitrose Distribution Centre - Bracknell

The challenging programme of this complex construction required both extended hours and weekend working, but through close communication and effective coordination, all works and variations were completed on-time and defect free, with the overall project proving to be a real achievement for the Woodmace team.

  • Composite reinforced boundary structures — a mix of pre-cast and in-situ concrete
  • Extensive and deep drainage installation, with tubosider attenuation tanks


  • 10,000m3 reduced level excavation
  • Fine tolerances required for the Warehouse slab, with a high quality finish
  • Toprock recycled materials used for constructing the Dock Leveller and Loading Bays to increase the strength of the concrete around this area
