We are constantly striving to provide new technologies and methods of formwork and falsework, thereby increasing our efficiencies to deliver the concrete package. We have invested in our own formwork systems and have strived to ensure we keep the entire process in house. From small substructure formwork projects to large multi-storey frame packages, typically in the range of £50k to £15 million.
We also provide consulting support and concrete and formwork solutions for high end bespoke architectural concrete buildings. Proficient in specialist concrete structures for the non-destructive testing industry and Linac bunkers for the medical and R&D industries. These types of structures are a highly speciallised, controlled and measured operation due to magnetic and radiation shielding requirements of the finished project.
We can provide consultation and data provision for thermal control measures to provide the designers with historic information and experience. This field of concrete structures has enabled Woodmace to be the successful recipient of Concrete Society Award.
Woodmace are experienced in all formwork and concrete requirements from large multi storey concrete frames to bespoke architectural housing. We are qualified and insured to undertake these in the role of principal contractor.
Based on our experience in the bespoke area of concrete structures, we have also been tasked with consulting roles to clients in the design and construction stages for large pour methodology and the problems associated with high core temperatures in comparison to cooling face temperatures and the problems associated with thermal shocking of curing concrete. We have carried out test panel studies at our head office testing area and accumulated vast amounts of data associated with thermal mass and internal strain gauge monitoring.
